CSBG Carryover again
I thought we had put this one to bed, but perhaps not. My staff tell me that in his workshop at the conference last week Chuck Templin said unequivocally that caps would not be permitted to carry over unexpended CSBG funds after SEPTEMBER 2009. Since our contracts run through December I don't even know how they expect to enforce that. Chuck is starting to get on my nerves a little. I am sure he means well. But I think he is not well informed.

Joe: I thought that was put to rest also. Maybe 1 CAP Director (such as Joe Conrad) and Ed should meet face to face with Cecilia and Chuck to talk about.
We asked Cecelia to look into the matter and update the network on exactly what IHCDA's position is. We can discuss next week - in the words of that famed Alaskan - You betcha!
The executive committee discusssed this with CJP last month and she has agreed to discuss their progress at the November 12 meeting of the board of directors.
